GLOW IN THE DARK MASKS This blacklight maskmaking workshop is a perfect accompaniment to Magical Rain's Blacklight Productions. The workshop begins with introduction to masks and their symbolic, ritual and mythological meanings throughout the world. Students will then have the chance to create their own simple masks with flourescent materials that "glow in the dark" when exposed to blacklight. At the end, the students get to preview their masks in the blacklight and to improvise some mini performances using their new masks. |
